The Benefits

What children learn at 'Manor House Nurseries'

Our qualified, professional staff, ranges from 18 year-old apprentices, to the more ‘mature’ experienced staff, offering a range of age and diversity. We’re also proud to employ male practitioners, providing positive role models for the children.

With our very own Forest School, exciting local trips, excellent health and nutrition, all this creates a warm and welcoming family environment, where children take the opportunity to challenge their abilities, develop their capabilities and inspire their imagination.

Motivation &
Concentration

Children's learning is based on their own interests and curiosity. This intrinsic motivation supports children's level of engagement and supports their desire to learn, now and in the future.

Self-esteem &
Confidence

We give children the opportunity to develop a 'can do' attitude. Trying new things and having time for free play, develops children's positive feelings about themselves and their capabilities

Language &
Communication

Our Nursery offers ample opportunity for new vocabulary to be introduced to children. We use a wide variety of fun learning technics to boost their language and communication skills.

Knowledge &
Understanding

Helping children to understand and giving them the knowledge they need, helps them to become confident.

Social &
Physical Skills

Being around other adults & children helps to gain social & physical skills. Seeing and watching others is a great way to learn new things.

Emotional
Development

We help children start to understand who they are, what they are feeling and how to deal with their ever changing emotions.

Our Team

We have over 80 qualified and experienced staff, believing that child-care is a ‘vocation’ and not just a ‘job’. Our team of managers have been selected because of their unique skills, and their length of time at the nursery, which means they understand what different families and children really need.

All our staff are paediatric first aid trained within 3 months of employment and are fully trained in safeguarding. All in all, we are very proud of our staff, and it’s them who make Manor House Nursery Group so very special.
